I have never had a puppy weigh 2 pounds at 8 weeks and only grow to 3 poiunds..so do not count on this puppy stopping at that weight..it is NOT the norm..they tend to triple the 8 weeks weight..and double the 12 week weight...I do not find the 8 week rate to be as accurate...12 wk rarely fails for me..
