sweetie...i FEEL your pain! maggies hair was like that until recently. i took her and had her hair cut to 1 inch all over and it has grown back so silky and much MUCH easier to manage. it is grown out a lot now. I use the cowboy magic shampoo and some other horse conditioner (could not see myself spending 20 bucks on cowboy magic conditioner when the bigger bottle of the shampoo was only 7 dollars!!) anyway, the horse conditioner works great. it says you can leave it in but leaving it in for a horse vs. leaving it in for a yorkie...2 TOTALLY different results
so i rinse it really good and she dries very silky and brushable
i brush her every night before bed and most of the time i will give her a quick comb during the day too.
it gets better. that puppy coat is SO hard to manage. but when the adult coat comes in, it is so much better.
and if you already have been through this, i'm preaching to the choir here, huh?? LOL
