If it get's to the point where you think your going to have to get rid of her consult a animal behavorist first. One should be able to help. I'm not sure how old your yorkie is but that could be a factor. If your using the crate at one point during the day and not another that could be a problem, Your yorkie may not have a problem at night, but she should still be kept in the cage. Also it is best to not make coming home and leaving very dramatic or prolonged as it make seperation worse. When you come home do not make immediate eye contact with her nor should you make eye contact with her when you leave(dont look back) This helps show here that you are in control, It is also a technique used to establish dominace. You need to be a comfortable leader for the puppy to be comfortable at home. When you are ready to see the puppy and have put your stuff away kneel down calmly, Do not squeel or over exert yourself in the dogs mind you have been gone in a world he has no idea of and when you come home and suddenly act this way it gives him a perception of the outside world, that is why to is best to remain calm and positive around you dog.
