I think something could still be worked out if the two of you wanted to. You would have had to have the puppy vet checked no matter what. You are out your time and she is out her time, $200 and a plane ticket(which aren't cheap). I have no idea why she still wouldn't want the puppy after all that trouble. you were fortunate you found the breeder you did. 99% of us would not do that. i wouldn't. as far as the OP working something out, doesn't matter. The deposit is non refundable unless out of the goodness of her heart she wants to return it. Almost all our deposits are non refundable, too unless something were to happen on our end. kathy is also firtunate that she didn't let her baby go. A person that scatter-brained, based on what has been written, would not make a good yorkie parent.
