I bought the DC17 Animal and LOVE it too! This is the best vacuum I have ever had. It is not good on area rugs, unless they are held down with furniture, because it has such a good suction it wants to pick them up. I have a large, thick area rug under my coffee table and it works fine on that but any of the small rugs, forget it -- tries to suck them up.
I do not think I would spend the money on it if you don't have carpet. Get a smaller, lighter weight Oreck for less money and it will work just as good on bare floors. But if anyone has carpet -- I would definately recommend the Dyson -- I cannot believe the stuff I am still getting out of my carpet! |
