armygirl65 what I did to train my pup was the dog litter box and I used newspaper sure he tried at first to tear and eat it but you continue to take it out of his mouth and say no.continue to put him back in the box when he tries to get out.take him in the area you eventually want him to go in. do not stray from that area take him obout 20minutes after eating every time he eats. matbe longer or shorter time depends or your pups bladder and wait him out till he goes then lots of kisses and hugs and maybe a treat.sticking with the same routine works
