It will take some time. We brought Bailey home at 8 weeks old and it has been exactly 6 weeks today since he came to live with us. His accidents are not like when he first came home, but he dose still have them (one so far today). Some puppies need to go out every hour, but Bailey needed to go out quite a bit more than that....it just really depends on each puppy. He was having a ton of accidents but, like I said, he has gotten better. He had no accidents yesterday and none the day before and the one that he had today was right against the back door. Chances are he was scratching or whining and we just didn't see him. Just give it some time and you will start to see improvements with each week! We even took Bailey to my parent's house last night and he went to their door to let me know that he needed to go potty...we were so proud. Your little guy will get it, too.
