well... to be honest it is not good food... Layla was on the gastro canned food for about a month for a stomach issue... i went to talk to someone OTHER than her vet and she said... first thing to do is take her OFF The food..w hich i did. and began to feed her high quality natural food.. problems went away... the vets sell it to make money.. not because it is good food... but if it is to solve a tummy problem... you might want to try it for a bit but i woudln't keep her on it long.. esp. because it is a wet food.... dry is a lot better for them.
