Ask to see the parents, vet health check, no fleas, mites or worms, vet number for a reference, one year health guarantee against fatal genetic problems, diet, shot record, registration papers,...make sure the puppy is clean and free of fleas, the area is clean, other dogs are clean, puppy should be outgoing and friendly.
