I love my Yorkie! Best dog I aever had! She is not a barker at all. Only if she hears someone outside our house. Who wouldn't want that? Then she will bark and look at you as if to say, don't you hear that and bark again and look at us. She was hard to train. She never house trained until she was 9 months old. I don't think their bladders mature too early. She loves my grandchildren. The only thing, she is 3# and I absolutely refuse to let them hold her or walk holding her. If they want to hold her, they must get on the floor to do it. My sister had a little Maltese, and her grand kids dropped it and it was paralized in it's back legs for the rest of it's life. We must protect out babies. Sometimes, she will go into over-drive, but then, one must deal with that and calm them down. She is a delightful Pet and one I know you would simply love.
