Thanks everybody! Kimberly, you're going to kill me, but I don't know the brand of these booties. I bought them at Alaska Mill & Feed a while back. I initially didn't like them because I thought they were too heavy duty, but they've grown on me and lasted two seasons. The have a leather sole, nylon above that and a stretchy material around the top. They fasten with black Velcro. If I come across the brand name and it's available online, I'll PM you.

And, sexiixtc, I have a canon digital rebel, the original 6.3 megapixel version. The newer models are 8 and 10 megapixels. Mine went for $1,000, but the price has come down since then. Its best feature is it uses interchangeable lenses.

I always caution people, though, that it is heavy and clunky. Unless you're a serious amateur, it's probably not worth the money. Plus, I paid another $250 or so on a 70-300mm zoom lens, which is what I use most of the time to get closeups.
