My dogs do it also.. it drives me crazy. I try and get em to stop as well, but it's hard running after 3 dogs. It makes me sick to my stomach even thinking about it.
I have tried to block any holes in the fence so the rabbits cant get in my yard, but as if that is going to stop em....
I don't know what else to do either...
