I agree with Jeanie, as long as they're spayed/neutered it doesn't matter. My neutered male yorkie's best friend is my mom's male maltese mix, and they get along so well
Then, we got our little maltese, and she's a female, and they get along beautifully too. Just get whatever yorkie you fall in love with whether it's a male of female. Don't look at gender, just find your baby
