My Daisy (9 months old) got spayed Tuesday and this morning I found her stinky and she smelled like 'infection' so I immediatly checked her insicion area, no, then looks at her 'cookie' and saw pus coming out
, and it freaked me out. I called the vet and he prescribed her Amoxicillian (sp?) and told him she had not been really thrilled about eating or drinking (I have been giving her Nutri-cal) and I figured it was because of the pain meds she was on and that she peed on the carpet and bed (unusual for her...she is 99% potty trained, except when she meets new people and she gets excited). I am very upset this happened and maybe I am blowing this out of proportion, but is there anything else I can do? What would you guys do if you were me? She is my baby and I would be heartbroken if she died over something like this.
