My vet said feed one of the superpremiums listed above and told me to skip vitamins -- and Dean was underweight at 3.5 lbs (for his structure). Science Diet label says 3/8 to 7/8 cup for 2-5 lb'ers, so I feed at least 1/2 cup a day + to Dean and treat with Marrowbones. Decided to go w/Science Diet instead of Eukanuba b/c I already use it for Hank -- didn't want to have to buy 3 diff. dog foods and a cat food. I don't feed wet food-- makes me want to gag. It reminds me more than the dry of all the "mechanically processed parts" yadda yadda they throw in. And down here in Alabama, we aren't averse to meat. We put pig ankles in our greens, but the smell of wet dog food still makes me wanna gag... off topic though - sorry.
