It is funny that they don;t specify the "type" of dog foods here. In brazil it is clasified under 2 classes: Premium and Superpremium. Usually the brands sold in supermarkets are considered premium and food that you can only get in petshops are usually super premium (like eukanuba, royal canin, nutro, blue, innova, etc....)


I know puppy chow is a premium and not a superpremium dog food. The diference basicaly is in the quality of the products and what parts were used. Both foods, premium and superpremium, are balanced but the superpremiums have extra igredients (vitamins&minerals) and that;s why they are considered the "best" foods!
