My mom had one knee replaced and - although she said it was very painful and the rehabilitation was very hard - she said it was the best thing she ever did and she would do it again in a heart beat. Having both knees done at the same time will be very hard, but then it will all be over and you will feel so much better. Mom was in rehab with a man who had both done at the same time, and he did great!

One of the most important things is to work hard in rehab. It will hurt and it will be very hard, but the harder you work at rehab, the quicker you will recover and be pain free. Even after you are discharged from rehab, keep doing the exercises.

Good luck!!!
