They say the breeder should be informative, and you can ask for references. I have 3 yorkies, 2 boys and a girl. I just got the female about 1 1/2 months ago from a breeder in Shoemakersville, PA. Ask how long they have been breeding. If the place is dirty, don't buy the puppy. I don't know what area you are in, but this breeder was fantastic and my baby girl is perfect. Her name is MaryAnn. She also breeds pugs. She has a website call family of pugs. She has been breeding for 19 years. The place was beautiful , clean, puppies gorgeous, she gave me instruction on how to take care of my new baby, some food to take home, nutri-stat (which is very important) and even a toy. She gave me the papers to register. You can also asked if they are certified by the state. She was very imformative. I couldn't believe the price. I paid $850 for her. Last year I paid $2000 for my little boy. I would be more than happy to give you her #. If you are interested you can email me @:
