Honestly, I really thought I was being overly cautious. I had heard about small dogs and pets being stolen, but I really didn't know it was this bad. Since Percy came home, I am obsessive about locking the doors and windows when I leave. I won't let him outside without a leash, and am almost afraid to take him to the dog park. That someone will just pick him up and take him when I turn my back.
Why would someone steal someones pet?
It doesn't make any sense to me.
