Which canary island are you going to? I have been to Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria and Barcelona is great. The Sagrada Familia church by Gaudi is amazing and also Las Ramblas which is a street that everyone walks down which has lots of different part like, one piece is all cafe's ,1 all newstands,1 flower stall's and 1 performing artist's but just watch out for the part that has the pet stores avoid that!
