I have a 12 day c-sec puppy that has problem gaining weigh. Can I get some good advice from you experienced breeders please. Here is the whole story:
-Delivered through c-sec on 3/05/07 Monday, very distresses singleton puppy, took me over and hour to revive it
-Couldn't get it to nurse on mommy for almost a week, supplementing every 2-3 hours with Esibilac powder formula and Nutrical. Currently I feed about 3 to 4 cc each time. Is it enough. I feed it through the syringe and when I am done I let it nurse on mommy.
-I don't know exactly what was baby's weight at birth but on day 3 it was 3.1 oz. Today is day 12 it is only 3.5 oz.
-I am trying everything I can and just to let you know this puppy is very active. Does't cry too much but moves around a lot.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT ELSE I CAN DO???
