Teething can be apart of it, 4 1/2 weeks is when they usually begin breaking teeth. Yes, all moms are different, that's why I said I let moms set the pace. I don't push the process, as mom's teach so much. By 8 weeks my moms have piddle pad trained their babies, continues to teach acceptable social behavior, teaches them pack order, etc.
