Im sorry to hear about your little one!
Lafayette is about a 1 1/2 away from me if you cant find any place that will let your baby stay with you.

(As long as you don't mind a 1/2 dozen kids and all my furballs!)
I live in Illinois but am right on the border of Indiana. My frontage road leads right to 65 that will take you straight to Lafayette.
