No, Lafayette is not small at all. It is smaller than Indianapolis, but not small. It is pretty much combined with West Lafayette. Their Vet school at Purdue is one of the best. There are plenty of hotels and motels to stay at. I would just check on line, or give Purdue a call. They are really good at helping.
