Our Jessie has been from Atlanta to Las Vegas and to New York. He was nervous and did not enjoy being in the carrier very much. When we were seated on the plane my daughter put the carrier on her lap so Jessie could pop his head out and she could pet him...the stewardess very sternly said both carrier and dog had to go under the seat! My daughter, (middle child) asked if the lady across the aisle would have to put her baby under the seat too!!! Only... this was a human baby. Unthinkable...but to my daughter it seemed to be just as unreasonable to put "our baby" under the seat.

The lady with the baby was very sweet and said to my daughter that she understood completely!
