I've never experienced this with my own pets because all mine are spayed/neutered but this is typical male behavior. And unaltered male only has one thing on his mind when around a female. This behavior is normal and will only grow tremendously worse if he is bred. I have been told many times that even if a male dog is bred only once that's all they focus on. A great family pet will start marking in the house and basically become a totally different dog.

I had originally wanted to breed Harley one day but after talking to a lot of well informed experienced breeders here on YT, I changed my mind and had him neutered. Breeding is a WHOLE lot more than just putting two dogs together and I am glad that I chose not to breed my guy. I would talk to some experienced breeders There are a lot of good people on here who would love to help you out

Also, I work for a discount spay/neuter program in my area and you wouldn't believe how many people complain about how they decided to breed their dog before having him neutered and it 'ruined' him. Every one of them complained of them marking in the house after years of great potty training and having a 'one track mind' and having issues with obedience. So IMO if you're looking for him to be a pet then I wouldn't breed him.

(please don't bite off my head anybody! )
