All three of my children were natural with no pain meds. It hurt like H*ll during the process, but within a couple of hours the pain was forgotten, I was coherent and breast feeding my babes and BEST of all, my babies were never exposed to drugs their first day on earth. My first was a preemie, and my second birthing went so successfully that we both were home within 24 hours.
