We took Conner with us from CT to FL when he was 8 months old (in an airline-approved carrier). He had to stay in his carrier on the floor in front of us. He never barked or cried. We had a stop in Atlanta, therefore, he could not have a potty break for approximately 7 hours. He was great!! Only certain airlines let you take your pets on board with you (we flew Delta) and it cost us $50 each way (total of $100).

We did have to take him out of his carrier to go through security. The bag went through the scanner and I carried Conner through with me. My Mom and Dad also have a Yorkie that they frequently travel with. They invested in a carier on wheels.

We would take him again.
