Hi there. Yes, Yorkies are a lot of work but they are the greatest little things in the world. And it sounds like you really want to have one, so I would not listen to what those people are telling you about not being able to care for one. Once you hold that little baby in your arms you are going to be so attached that you won't be able to put him down. I have two yorkies, my baby girl I just got a few months ago and I can't imagine my life without them. I am 23, I work full time and and finishing up my degree this quarter, so that means class full time as well. I am married and I have a social life. So it is possible to have it all. And belive me my babies are the most spoiled little things in the world. I take then everywhere with me. One thing that helped me when I first brought them home is I checked with my boss and asked if I could bring the baby to work with me. I set up a little place on my desk and put down a puppy pad and a bowl of water and food and there they were. They were still to young to bark and the mostly just slept all day. I had to be around my little girl all the time, because when I first brought her home she was only 12 ounces and I had to make sure her blood sugar didn't fall. The office fell in love with them, I brought them to work with me for almost 3 weeks and then I felt comfortable leaving them at home. They are a lot of work, but its so worth it, because they are the best little babies! Good Luck! )
