Hi guys,

I think its horrble what this women did but.... if she is selling sick puppies I dont see how her civil rights are being violated. Yes unfortunatetky people still do buy from petshops and dont do research when buying a dog but thats not entirely their fault either. The very first time I purchased a dog was from a pet store, I didnt know any better. I saw the puppies in the window and fell in love with one of the puppies. Hell i still see puppies in pet shops and want them all but i now know better. So no i dont believe people get what they deserve for buying from a pet shop, i feel bad and hope they ended up with a healthy pup. Also as for going to the vet within 24 hours, I have gone straight from the breeder to my vet before bringing home both of my dogs. What happens when say someone picks up a puppy on the weekend ? If you are going to have this in your contracts i hope you advise your buyers to schedule picking up a puppy during the week when it is easier to get in to see a vet. That is what i did. I purchased my pup on a sunday but did not bring her home till tues when i was able to get an appt.

If we want people to stop buying from pet stores then somehow thru the media they have to be told why they shouldnt buy from there. I think peta should do commercials on the dangers of buying from petshops as well as animal planet and the news and radio etc... i think you get my point.
