There are alot of good brands. Some off the top of my head are Natures Variety,Nutro, Canidae,Merricks, Chicken Soup,Natural Balance and Innova. You cant usually find any of these at Petco or Petsmart. I have found better brands at feed stores and specialty pet stores. Some people order them online.
