At my wits end...... I have reallly had it with my doggie and I just don't know what to do. My dog has several behavior issues and we have bought books and tryed differnt things and nothing seems to get through with her.
We didn't want to have to resort to crateing her but it has come it that (after she chewed my kitchen chairs (50's dinette with tacks that she ate them)
So we got a crate and it just hasnt beeen working. I mean sure she cant get into "trouble" but still she does rather disturbing things.
In her crate i put down a piddle pad and then two of her little blankets and a toy or two and a small bowl of water, I come home from a errand and the water dish has been kocked upside down and the whole area is wet and there is nothing for her to drink. I went to petsMart and got one of the lickits to hang on the cage and tried that....well that leaks out and got everything wet. then tonight we leave for a bit and I put a empty bowl under the lickit to get the drippage and the lickit is empty, the bowl is knocked over...everything is wet and there is poop residue but no sign of it....im guessing she ate it. What am I to do? I dont think it is soposed to be such a ordeal........during the day she goes and plays in there no problem and that but when we are gone i dont know what the deal is. We tryed a knuckle bone that was sugested by a trainer and to give it to her when we leave and then take it back when we come home and after a week she didnt want that anymore and wouldnt touch it.....
At night she gets to be in the living room and the kitchen and has no issues sleeps all night on the couch so I dont know what the deal is....
What are you soposed to put in a crate with them? am I giving her too much?
I am just at the end of my rope....we took her in so she wouldnt be sent "away" but now I think I might have to find a new home her her myself.....my husband is over it and I too am pretty much over this as well. I realize she is a puppy but she just has no sence.
Please if anyone can help me it would be great.
Thanks so much
