I just saw an episode last night on E-Vets Intern on Animal Planet and this Weinereiner (sp) had a stroke that affected an area near the brain stem. After some treatment and time, it was okay. The symptons were the couple saw her in her crate laying down with legs straight out. When they tried to get her out, she couldn't stand. The way they knew what to look for was she was moving her head from side to side. She had no balance.
