Teddy Bear's Glamour Shot Thanks to all who said he was such a cute boy!!! And that is before he got his last grooming....at Christmas, he was pretty shaggy, and I intend to get more pictures. As background, he is 3-1/2. I adopted him a year and a half ago from a place in Texas called Dogtown. It goes along with what they call "First Mondays" in Canton, Texas (225 acres + of vendors - new, used, crafts, pavilions - you have to see it to believe it - and it is open only the first weekend that has the first Monday in it - hence the name). Dogtown opens along with it for those 3 days. It is a massive area with breeders, kennels, any type of registered dog you can imagine. Well, it was late one Sunday afternoon, and they were beginning to close. There was this one kennel and a little dog in a cage. His hair had been chopped off and he looked so sad. The man explained that they had bought out another kennel, and they had so many yorkies that they didn't need him and he was 2 then. He said he had been raised in a cage or pen and needed a good home, so I bought him. That is how he "came to be." It has taken me a year to bring him out, but he is the love of my life! I don't really know what chocs/reds are? But the eyes are so unusual gold and brown. He is such a love! |
