THANK YOU ALL!
I really do appreciate this, I have been so upset because I am so worried about my baby and this broker went OFF the wall on me. You're all right - they're probably wanting their vet to look her over so if something IS wrong with her I won't find out.
The breeder and I had a LONG talk, she told me if Kimber does have a liver shunt they will gladly give me the money my dad paid for her back.
I'm faxing Kimber's test results from the vet here to their vet to get their opinion. The breeder was very concerned about Miss Kimber - not like the broker was concerned about the poor care of my vet (according to her). My vet is being cautious, and from what I read - he has every right to be!
After I hear from the vet out of town I might get a second opinion IN town about all this.....I really think that broker is nuts and even my best friend said she's just trying to make herself look good and not get a bad name!
To be honest I didn't even think of the fact that they would only want their dogs to go to their vet because they could hide anything that was wrong with the dog within the first year.
For now the spay is on hold until I get things figured out. I would rather get her spayed but I don't want to risk putting her under until I know something is wrong.
Thank you ALL for your thoughts, concern and prayers
