Thank you. I met the vet at 7:30. She took the remaining 3 pups c-section. She said the one in the canal had his head tucked under his leg (??) and that there was no way she would have been able to push him through.

All 5 pups are doing well. Mom is slowly waking up. Vet said as soon as she is coherent and able to stand up fine, then I can put the first 2 pups with her. She said that as soon as the other 3 pups are "awake" and more alert, I can put them in with her, watching to make sure they do ok together.

I'm really upset with me vet right now, because she said that the placentas were starting to separate from the pups, and that if that had happened, they would not have been alive.

I thought, well, then why didn't you answer your cell when I called you at 3:30 and 5:30 this morning????? But, I kept my mouth shut, and prayed that the pups would be ok. And they are.
