I think your boyfriend will be more encouraging after you get the puppy. My Husband wasnt really crazy about getting dogs either and it tookme two years to talk him into letting us get one. But he grew on him quick and then it was him that sugggested we get a second one. Then one month later we got Jewels. They are both his babies as much as they are mine.
