I bought my first Yorkie many years ago. He was an unregistered male, very smart and had the greatest personality. I fell in love with the breed. After a lot of research and study, I knew that I wanted to breed and raise these wonderful dogs.
I've had the joy of raising yorkies now for 12 years. All of my yorkies live in my home with my husband and me with lots of tender loving care. My husband calls them our "kids".

I was very fortunate to meet a yorkie breeder of many years who became my mentor and has helped me beyond words.
At the present time we have two adult females, two adult males, one retired female and two puppies. One puppy I kept because she was too tiny to sell. I didn't trust anyone to take as good of care of her as I do. The other puppy I kept to see how she will turn out for a good breeder, meeting the standards as set forth by AKC. I love these little dogs and my home wouldn't be complete without them.
I look forward to learning a lot from YorkieTalk and hope that I will be able to participate and offer any help from my many years of breeding.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this forum.
