What is it that smells bad?

As a puppy, he shouldn't smell bad unless a piece of poop got caught in his hair

Is it his breath? Yorkies are known to have weak teeth and bad breath (but as an adult)..you should start early and wipe his teeth with puppy dental wipes...just wrap the wipe around a finger and stick your finger in his mouth...clean around his teeth (it's easier than toothbrush)

Sometimes, if your puppy tears a lot, his eye boogers may build up and smell....just make sure you get a warm cloth and clean around his eyes.
