I'm so glad you are aware of those precious little eyes and the importance of keeping them clean. I have found that there is a direct connection with our little ones between the health in thier mouthes, ie bacteria, decay, plaque, etc., and the amount of gunk draining from the eyes. Of course we all know how notorious our Yorkies are for crummy teeth, so we need to brush those little chompers every day just as often as we clean the little peepers.
I've learned some lessons the hard way. One of our rescues has lost all her chompers and is a constant reminder to me to keep up the tooth patrol. |
