 Rabies Vaccine

I am the lady that told you about Spunky having an allergic reaction to the 3 year Rabies vaccine by Merial. I am also an RN. If I were you I would get him to a vet. If that is not possible, then Benedryl is an antihistamine and it does reverse allergic reactions. On your vaccination certificate, it should have the Manufacturer and Serial Number of the vaccine. Did he also get a booster? My Yorkie's reaction was reported to Merial that manufactured the Rabies and to Fort Dodge who manufatured the 5 in 1 booster. The reaction was also reported to a Toxicologist at the Animal Poison Control Center. You can google the Manufacturer and find their number and speak with a vet tech. If he got anything from Merial or Fort Dodge, then I think that it is important to call them. If they say they have not had a similar report then that is not true.
