i have never experienced this but have heard of this happening many times. i hope she isn't too hard on herself. not to be harsh, but this is part of breeding. you hear people say all of the time, when you decide to breed, you have to be able to handle if you loose a puppy or the mommy or anything else awful than can happen. breeding is not for everyone.
yes, this is a horrible incident. i hope she does have another baby.
