I just had a Pampered Chef party and the lady told us about cooking a chicken in the deep covered roaster, in the microwave. 30 minutes and a whole chicken was done to perfection -- with no prep other than washing it, season, and sticking it in the stoneware!

She also used the batter bowl, put in one box (1 lb) of bowtie pasta, filled the bowl to the rim with water and cooked for 20 minutes in the microwave. Perfect pasta! She made it into a pasta salad to demo some other tools. I think you could use any large glass bowl the same way.

We grill a lot too -- I love making kabobs and a big salad for a meal -- we use beef, chicken or shrimp along with whatever veggies we have -- peppers, onions, mushrooms. Might take a little more than 30 min. counting the grill prep time, but cooking is a breeze.
