I won't go into my opinions of spay/neuter at a young age, because that's not what this thread is about, but I do want you to know that it's great that you're getting her disiduous teeth removed at the same time, she must not have very many to pull.

My granddaughter's mom and dad are not sure they want to get their new Yorkie baby spayed. I definitely think she should be spayed. I'd like to know your thoughts on spaying, at what age, etc. I have Bichons and it is recommended that the females be spayed at about 5 or 6 months, before they have a season.
