I think it all depends on the dogs temperment and how well behaved the children are. My FH's nephews (5 and 2) are the only kids that Ranger has really been around for long periods of time and at first he was intimidated by them. Once he got used to them he loved their attention. I think if the puppy is introduced and around children often they will get used to them. Good luck finding the perfect "daughter"
