Skipper, my horse of 15 years died a few feet from me last March when he slipped in the mud and broke his neck. I can't begin to describe the pain of watching that happen. I am just now able to think about getting another horse and did buy one a few weeks ago. His name is Paint. I haven't spent much time with him as of yet because, I still only see Skipper in my head and still miss him so very much. I know I will see him in heaven.
