2 sugar gliders! Their names are Layla and Emma, and they are so cute.
Keeley and Emma (on of my suga babies) met for the first time the other day. It was so funny. He went up to her cage and she came down to his level they got nose to nose for a while and just stared at each other. Then all the sudden Emma crabbed at him (crabbing a a defense sound gliders make to scare away other animals, it sounds like a loud electric pencil sharpener).Keeley jumped SO high and then started barking at the cage. He hasen't gone back since.
I had been worried how my gliders would act having another animal in the house, I was glad to see Emma take charge and hold her own against an animal that is SO much bigger then her. |
