The rules are:

1. If the company does not add the ingredient it does not have to be listed on the label.

2. Any commercial fishing vessel in the U.S. that is catching fish to be supplied to the pet food market has to preserve the fish taken onboard with Ethyoxyquin.

Because Blue doesn't add it, they don't have to list it. Ethoxyquin is usually burned off in the food processing cycle, but they do not test for it, nor can they insure that it is completely gone from their product before it is offered for sale. What if someone turns the oven off early for a batch here and there? The only way to be sure you are not feeding it to your dog, is to not feed them anything that contains fish.

Ask them who they buy their fish from, and contact that company.
