Hi there,
My Toby is 9 weeks, he goes outside when I am home and knows what to do when he is outside as well. He will try to go in the house if he can though...I have put down puppy pads in the house, I tried 1 first, and then I had 2 down for a while.... Here is the thing, he will not go on the pad. I have had him for 10 days now, and like the girl said before I know this will not happen overnight, but I think he has only went on the pad maybe a total of 5 or 6 times, and only peeing. I really don't want to have him going in the house at all even if it is on a pad, but I would like an emergency place that he could go potty if he absolulely has too. I also was wondering about confining him to a certain space. I was thinking about trying to crate train, but he cries bloody murder when I leave the room or put him in the spare room. I am just really confused. I am really happy that he is going outside, but know that he is unable to hold it all day while my husband and I are at work.
