I would tell mine "potty for a treat".. and when she pottied, I'd give her a treat.
Someone here suggested me giving her pieces of her own food for a treat. So I always kept a pocket full of her food on me.
It worked too! She'd sometimes fake a pee to get a treat
Just having one 2 weeks, is certainly not enough time in traning.
I also got a large bell from petsmart, and hung it on the back door. I put peanut butter on it, to get her used to ringing the bell to go outside. Many here have bell trained dogs. I learned all this from other YT members.
You have to use the same exact words each time to get them to do what you want. I used "potty for a treat" and "wanna go out, have to ring the bell" then I'd ring the bell and we'd go out. It took her about 2 months to finally ring it, but she does it now.
